Humane Interface by Jef Raskin is one of the most inspirational books I've read. I wanted to share the authors definition of it.
"An interface is humane if it is responsive to human needs and considerate of human frailties. If you want to create a humane interface, you must have an understanding of the relevant information on how both humans and machines operate."
This quote was a moment when I realized what I love about software and interface design—the relationship between human interaction and how machines operate.
